The Karate Kid is a 1984 American martial arts drama film produced starring William Zabka as Johnny Lawrence, Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso and Pat Morita as Mr. Miyagi. The film is an underdog story and features the Gōjū-ryū, Gōjū Kai style of karate.
